Light weight Mullite castable takes high quality porous mullite aggregate as raw material, plus a fine powder and additives that used in heating furnace. As the product takes high grade synthetic materials and combines with low cement or micro powder and used in high temp parts, so should select excellent pure calcium aluminate cement and its general control in 5%-10%, too much will reduce the product high temperature strength and anti-spalling strength.

Light weight Mullite castable has good high temperature performance, the service temperature is 1350℃ which can contact flame directly as furnace lining. As its little volume density and low thermal conductivity, the product has excellent thermal insulation performance. Also it has high mechanical strength, good thermal shock resistance and good abrasion resistance. Construction rapidly which can shorten the oven time to get significant economic benefits.

Light weight Mullite castable is mainly used for boiler, blast furnace, hot blast stove, heating furnace, ceramic furnace and other furnace lining.
