30~48% Al2O3 Fireclay Castable Refractory Mortar for Industrial furnaces

Fireclay Castable Refractory Mortar used for firebrick is made of bulk refractory, which should have good masonry performance and high temperature performance, so that can bond firebrick into dense integral furnace lining.

Fireclay Castable Refractory Mortar performance of masonry is refers to the refractory mortar in the masonry work to ensure the quality of masonry that has good liquidity, plastic, have certain water retention performance, can maintain uniform state not segregation precipitation, appropriate consistency and sticky for masonry, and does not dry up in order to achieve requirements of brick seam thickness within the time rubbing brick, and mortar in full.

The high temperature performance of Fireclay castable refractory mortar is to ensure the performance of firebrick at high temperature.

Fireclay Castable Refractory Mortar should be chosen with consideration of the close chemical composition of firebrick to ensure that the masonry can bond reliably.

Also the mortar’s sintering temperature is or slightly lower than the parts of the working temperature so that the mortar can be sintered under operating conditions, and bond with refractory brick, but should not lower too much, so that the refractory performance can not adapt to the requirement of masonry.

Fireclay refractory mortar uses hard clay clinker as the base material and combines with soft clay or chemical binder.

Fireclay refractory mortar is suitable for masonry of fireclay bricks in upper parts of blast furnace and lower parts of hot blast stove.
